Hindu concept of God - Answering muslims who deride Hinduism for Idol worship and polytheism

For Abrahmics (Muslim, Christian) monothiesm is the ultimate sign of religious purity. Polythiests are considered as primitive pagans, Kafirs or Heathen. Children are taught that these polytheists are the most corrupt people because they do not believe in true God therefore it is the duty of every Abrahmic to either convert the pagan or to kill him. It is fair to hate a pagan. This is also the core philosophy on which Kashmiri muslims are brainwashed and made to hate Hindu India and its people.

But the truth is concept of Monothism came from India and Hindus. But our monothism was not fanatic but tolerant. Our tolerance led us to accept that although there is one God or one reality there is no harm if people worship the true God in any form.

12th century Muslim Philosopher/historian and traveler to India, Al-Biruni wrote "The Hindus believe with regard to God that he is one, eternal, without beginning and end, acting by free-will, almighty, all-wise, living, giving life, ruling, preserving; one who in his sovereignty is unique, beyond all likeness and unlikeness, and that he does not resemble anything nor does anything resemble him."

Biruni argued that Hinduism was a monotheistic faith like Islam, and in order to justify this assertion, he quotes Hindu texts and argues that the worship of idols is "exclusively a characteristic of the common people, with which the educated have nothing to do."

Our Omnipotent and Omnipresent true GOD (Eshwar) is able to discriminate between good and bad intensions of his followers. He does not mind if a person worships Idols because he knows that this is an innocent and sincere act of an innocent person who is trying to worship him in some physical form. Therefore he accepts his worship.

Although Hindus believe there is only one true God called Eshwar everything or every other god is just an aspect of the same God. Since God is omnipotent and omnipresent, he is not insecure and does not get jealous if any innocent person worships him in any form or calls him by any name

The great God would get angry is when he sees people worshipping a rapist, mass murderer, terrorist, pedophile, womanizer, a person who committed incest with his own daughter-in-law and ultimately spread hate in the name of religion. And he will surely get angry if such a person is called as God’s messenger. He will roast all those people to hell who follow such a evil person’s example and become terrorists, rapists, pedophiles or robbers. Muslim concept of God is a jealous insecure person who will torcher people for not worshipping him. Their god does not understand justice (justice means punishment should not exceed crime)

Hindus believe that purpose of worship is to gain inner peace and to get God’s blessing unlike Muslims who believe the purpose of worship is to satisfy their narcissist God’s ego and command. Our God is not superficial so he understands and accepts the prayers of an ignorant person who worships him even in the form of an Idol.

Our God punishes unrighteous people like pedophiles, rapists, robbers and murderers. Our God sends us Gurus, Saints and Avatars who are role models and not criminals.

This shair from Mir clearly says that God does not need humans to worship him but to be nice and empathetic to each other.

Muslim fanatics don't understand this and go on raping and killing people in God's name. God will be prepare the worst hell for them.

dear brothers,i feel very bad when u r contraindicating to each others.for muslims arguements are probhited,if some one asks u any questions u should give answer but not hurt his feelings as our prophet(pbuh) did.if he asks to explain islam
plz tell him in a so,call manner as our prophet(pbuh)told,and dont contraindicate with their religion.even in quran its written (mahfoom-ALLAH for give me if im mistaken)

May I thank you all for setting these islamist straight about Hindusim. My close friend succumbed to their brainwashing and left our Dharma to become a muslim. His reason? Because of the rubbish spat out by people like Mink in these message boards and also on you tube (Zakir Naik!). I introduced him to great swamis amongst us from Chinmaya etc but it was too late. I hope for others it is not. If only others had given solid replies like you have.

Nobody says Cow is a god, Hindus say Cow is mother. But Cow is a holy animal because it gives us Milk and feeds us when we are young. Muhammad’s wife Aisha also used to suckle grown up men to make them her children. Although this is weird but you think it is still acceptable but Hindus consider a Cow which suckles them as their mother is unacceptable. But muslims think they are different but do not know the difference between them.

Do you have any reference to prove that Shiv ling is a sex organ or is this how you have been brainwashed by mullahs. Every major religion says the same thing, Christianity, Jews and Hinduism say the same thing. Actually I believe Muhammad copied it from Christianity.

But I would say Hinduism is a step ahead and more clear as it says before creation there was not time. Which is confirmed by modern scientists. Dennis Curran wrote:

Have you ever considered that it is you who could be on the wrong path. Look at the non-muslim world. It is full of joy happiness, love, progress and humanity and look at Islamic world which is full of despair, hate, backwardness and inhumanity. Well I am sure if there is a God he would put people who made this world a heaven into heaven and people who made this world hell into hell. I appreciate the way you have given a befitting reply that bloody fanatic mink. Moreover, I would like to add that we Hindus practise Sagun Bhakti while as these muslims follow Nirgun Bhakti wherein there is no idol or picture of God/Goddess nevertherless the bloody people are ignorant the Nigun Bhakti can only be pratised if one is completely devoid of ego, lust, greed, vanity and anger... which muslims can never conquer... what an ignorant lot! We need more people like you who show these muslims their actual place.
