Boston Muslim a Misunderstander of Islam, was plotting "violent jihad"

Oct. 21 (Bloomberg) -- A Massachusetts man was charged with plotting terrorist attacks that included shooting up shopping malls and targeting two unidentified U.S. officials as part of a "violent jihad" against Americans.

Tarek Mehanna, 27, was arrested this morning at his home in Sudbury, about 17 miles (27 kilometers) west of Boston, Acting U.S. Attorney Michael K. Loucks said at a press conference. Mehanna had been out on bail on a charge of lying to authorities about the location of a man who trained with al-Qaeda members intent on overthrowing the Somali government, Loucks said.

Loucks said Mehanna, Ahmad Abousamra, who is currently in Syria, and a third man who is cooperating with authorities wanted to obtain automatic weapons and attack U.S. shopping malls. The trio abandoned the plans before 2006 because they couldn't get the weapons, Loucks said.

"The killing of civilians was considered OK because civilians are taxpayers and are non-believers," Loucks said. He wouldn't disclose where the attacks were supposed to take place....

The U.S. complaint alleges that "Mehanna and coconspirators discussed their desire to participate in violent jihad against American interests and that they would talk about fighting jihad and their desire to die on the battlefield," prosecutors said in today's statement.

The trio also wanted to assassinate two members of the U.S. Executive Branch who are no longer in office, Loucks said. He wouldn't identify the targets....

These "misunderstanders", oddly, appear to have a classical Islamic understanding of whom it is Halal to murder--non-believers--non-Muslims--who are taxpayers to their own Infidel nations, but who do not pay protection money--the Jizya--to Muslims.

Muslims consider it open-season on such victims, and have proven so, in acts of violent Jihad terrorism, all over the world.

Ex-Presidents are only lightly protected by a small Secret Service detail, and VP's not at all. No matter what you may think of them personally or their politics, imagine the morale boost and propaganda coup these losers would reap by killing Clinton, Gore, Quayle, Mondale, Cheney, Bush Jr. or Senior, Jeb Bush, any of the wives, or even... Sarah Palin. Any governor, Congressman, Senator, etc would be huge, and these people have zero protection against a Jihad-style suicide attack. It seems like a matter of when, not if..

"Mehanna lives with his parents on Fairhaven Circle, a cul-de-sac off Hudson road. According to neighbors, his mother is a housewife and his father a professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. Tarek Mehanna was a graduate of that school.

According to another woman who lives on the street, Tarek Mehanna did an internship in the pharmacy at the Walgreen’s drug store in Marlborough within the past few years."

Why didn't he simply poison a dozen Infidels who came to have their prescriptions filled? Now that I think of it, what are the chances that a Muslim pharmacist, exhibiting Sudden Jihad Syndrome, does such a thing in the future? Is it irrational to foresee that happening? And if it is not irrational, then the pharmacies that employ such people, knowing that this is a distinct possiblity, may be liable to lawsuits that will center on this very issue of foreseeability. If I were CVS, or Walgreen's, or any of a number of stores that have pharmacies, or were I hiring for a stand-alone pharmacy, I might well wish to consider the implications, as to possible future liability.

Violence would only spark violence. Haven't you learn physics in your schools? The ongoing killings of the innocents would only generate cold blooded hate. To overturn the lies n hate is what we must do to beat the terrorist or would be terrorist. Overturning lies n hate would be the answer for peace for all of us. If we really are honest with ourselves. Keep on answering and questioning and we can make this world a better place n stop all the terrorism and the madmen.
