Rise N Fall of A Government

srizals@gmail.com

When Muslims were leaderless after the return of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. to the mercy of Allah, Muslims were in a state of shock. Saidina Abu Bakar a.s. had to comfort the Muslims by saying, "Those who worship Muhammad, know this, Muhammad has died. But for those who worship Allah, know this, Allah is eternal, He is ever living".

After some discussion n consensus, Abu Bakar was appointed as the first Khalifah, a leader of Muslims after the passing of the Prophet n spark a fire that would later on burn out of control n gave birth to the Syiah. After much oppression n unnecessary brutalities of course, even towards the beloved grandchildren of the Prophet. Yes, to that extent. So U see, being a Muslim is not the end of the test. Death is the end of this test that we call life.

Then as any human being would die, so did Abu Bakar, after successfully vanquished the uprising of the apostates, Muslims that were not really Muslims, only because out of fear of Muhammad n for worldly interest of course, yes, like always. N Umar took over from him as would Uthman took over from Umar, again with the consensus of the Ummah n the wise among them. Not like today democracy of course, where anyone, even an 'a in the hole' has the right to vote, disregard his mentality condition or IQ ability. Yes, I don't believe entirely on the western style democracy. Look what it did to the French. Remember guillotine? Not forgetting the Indians of America n the Black Muslim slaves they had. Thank U for getting my point.

When he took over, he realised that many Muslims that memorised the Koran line by line, letter 2 letter, were killed during the jihad against the apostates. So, he ordered the Koran to be written n compiled in a single book according to the Prophet's guidance before his death, by destroying the rest of the copies here n there, to avoid future misunderstanding, just like what had happened to the Christians.

Again this is done with consensus of all the Prophet's companions and the rest of the Ummah, not with like Saint Paul, of course, but with those who lived side by side with the Prophet, yes, his trustworthy companions. Not a single one of them or the rest of the Muslims, now n then, rejected the Koran that he had compiled. Nada. So Al Quran is preserved with the help of Allah. Unlike the bible n the Torah n also the Psalms. No one can manipulate, edit, omits n put add ons or do anything with the verses in the Koran. Well, it got to do with the language of course. Yes, Arabic is the most beautiful n sophisticated language of them all, that it would not make any sense if one is to temper with the letters, words n sentences in the Koran.

So it remained the same, the sound, the wordings, the sentences, the verses, completely in tact with the passing of a 1,400 years till now. Even the Syiah has the same copy of the Koran, with exception of the Sikh, which has evolved into a new religion, completely cut off from the Koran n the Hadith, with only the turbans n the beard stayed with them. The only differences? They covered their ears with their turbans while Muslims were not allowed to do it. To eh, help them listen better of course.

But all good things had an end. A great Fitnah evolved n in the end, Uthman was slayed. Uthman, beloved by the Prophet, declared openly by the Prophet, as one of the ten people that Allah had guaranteed paradise was killed by Muslims themselves, being not that Islamic of course. No, no guards were around. Uthman was guarded by his faith. He was not afraid of death of course. Like most true Muslims, even to this very day. Ali took over the task as the forth Khalifah but it was not the same. The tribe which Uthman belonged to was not happy. They demanded swift justice for those who were involved in the brutal n unnecessary killing of Uthman. They were lead by Muawiyah who in turn, declared himself as the rightful Khalifah after Uthman, n denounced Ali n refused to submit his allegiance to him. He accused Ali of protecting Uthman's murderers, as always. Muawiyah lead the war n was even supported by Saiditina Aisyah a.s. in the first place. Only retreating after she was barked at by dogs, which has been predicted by the Prophet. She knew she was on the wrong side n stayed away from the conflict.

Like in any other movies that U have witnessed, there will always be the munafiqin, the double agents, the double sided faces that would play their part cleverly in a beautiful evil way, so that people would go to war n kill each other 4 their own benefits or some sick agendas. In the great civil war of Siffin, when Muawiyah's armies were nearly decimated, they quickly pose a plan of lifting the Koran by their spears n asked for reconciliation. Saidina Ali a.s., being a devoted n a true Muslim could not ignore it. Both parties agreed to a Majlis Tahkim, where both parties agreed to relinquish their leader's position as the Khalifah n let the Ummah to decide again, who would be the rightful Khalifah. Being righteous, Ali's sides went first without any doubts, but Muawiyah's sides were treacherous n accepted Ali's resignation but did not relinquished Muawiyah self declaration as the Khalifah of Muslims.

Oh, I forgot, when Ali's sides were winning, some did not adhere to his command to lay down their arms. They claimed that Muawiyah was only plotting n was not truly sincere. When the bad turn out from the Tahkim assembly, they got madder n declared themselves as Khawarij n both Ali n Muawiyah was guilty for misleading the Muslims n deserved to be kill. It goes the same with any Muslims that are not with their school of thought. N blood continues to flow among Muslims.

U see, Muslims would evolved into 73 separate school of thoughts, now n then. Only one is accepted by Allah n would received his mercy. The rest would have to cleanse their sins for abandoning the basic principle of justice in Islam, the Koran n the Sunnah n 4 taking deities beside Allah, yes as always. They glorified mere humans. Submitting themselves to their injustices n corrupt ways out of fear as if that particular weaklings could grant them paradise n save them from Hell. Who the hell are they anyway? gods? Holy saints? Completely protected from errs just like the Prophets? Given direct revelations from Allah himself? I don't think so. So, I don't believe in you. You have no power over me.

Oh I forgot one more thing. When Umar delivered his public speech to the Ummah that were present when he was appointed as a Khalifah. He told them to correct him if he erred n an Arab stood up n drew his sword and said, "If you went wrong n chose tyranny, I would cut off your head with my sword myself". Yes, to that extent n Umar didn't lock him up after that or brought him to court to make him a bankrupt like what Singaporean's democratic perfect system did nowadays of course.

So there U are. Like I said, yes, Muslims would be divided into 73 groups. Only one is righteous. Those who kill with compassion n for just cause only n never for their own personal interests n gains. Those who would never kill beautiful babies, cute little children, women n the helpless. Those who would not transgress. Those who would restraint themselves from a fight if it is avoidable but would fight like a raging lion during the day n pray like a Saint during the night. Those who struggle for this earthly life like he would live forever n devoted himself in the submission to Allah like he is going to die the day after tomorrow. Can U guess which one?
