A month better than a thousand months

srizals@gmail.com

Ramadhan al Mubarak, A month of patience, A month of thousands blessing has arrived.

Blessed the Muslims that got the chance of meeting it yet once again. Maybe it would be their last. The month that promise a night of a reward like of those who devote his or her entire life for a thousand months non stop. Have you seen anyone that can pray, fast, fight in a Jihad of the mind, lust n the battlefield, restraint himself from anger, lust, sex etc. etc. non stop all the time for a thousand months? So U get my point the bounty n rewards that awaits those who are willing to cleanse him or herself in this trialing month.

All those were halal or allowed are now haram or forbidden beginning with dawn n ends with dusk. A husband is forbidden to have sex with his lawfully married wife. The eyes are forbidden from looking at 'things' that can arouse sexual desires, the mouth is forbidden from cursing, arguing n badmouthing anyone, along with food n drinks of course.

All sins will be forgiven, all prayers will be accepted n answered by God, all good deeds will be rewarded thrice the fold to uncountable times more than the usual in the rest of the months.
Alhamdulillah. I got the chance of entering this 'university of the mind n soul' of Allah s.w.t Himself.

Remember 'the Biggest Losers' where people compete to get themselves back in shape? Yes, Ramadhan is that event for Muslims. But it's not just the fat they are getting rid of. Everything that is evil n unworthy characteristics n practices n habits as a true Muslim have to go.

Hope all of U will come out a newborn Muslim, a cleansed Muslim, a more pious Muslim, a stronger Muslim in the end of it. Insya Allah. Salam Ramadhan.

The first war in Islam, the trench war, Al Badr, where 313 fasting Muslim braves defeated 1,000 Idol worshipers encircling them with only a trench to stop them from annihilating all the Muslims in Madinah is in the month of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah. All the trials n suffering of the first Muslims n even until now will always inspire me. Keep my alertness n will stronger n stronger than before.

Remember, Remember!
Things that null the fast. Things that null the reward of fasting.
May all of us will be rewarded by Allah with His love and the freedom from Hell forever n not just gaining thirst n hunger throughout this blessed month of Allah's mercy. Amin. Amin Ya Rabbal 'alamin.

Ramadhan 1430 Hijriah
